52 Reasons to Hate My Father

By: Jessica Brody

I loved this book so much! Sorry…Anyway…

Lexington Larrabee has never to work a day in her life. Literally. She doesn’t need to. (lucky) Because she’s the heiress to the multi-billion dollar Larrabee Media empire.

And heiresses are not supposed to work. That’s just not done. But then again, they’re not supposed to crash brand new Mercedes convertibles into convenience stores on Sunset Blvd either. Mwhahaha!

I really liked Lexi! She was so cool, if not a spoiled brat at parts…but who wouldn’t be if they were raised as she was?

So, on Lexi’s eighteen birthday she crashes her brand new convertible into a store. …Yeah, so, as punishment, Lexi’s ever-absent, tycoon of a father decides to take a more proactive approach to her life.

Every week for the next year, she will have to take on a different “commoner” job if she ever wants to receive her beloved trust fund – of 25 Million dollars.

But if there’s anything worse than working as a maid, a dishwasher, and a fast-food restaurant employee, it’s dealing with Luke, the arrogant, attractive, college intern her father has assigned to keep tabs on her. Luke thinks her father deserves to be kept on a pedestal. Lexi? Not so much.

Lexi also has an ex-boyfriend who is quite…*coughcough*…a Jerk! Um, yes. So, anyway, do Luke and Lexi ever come to terms with their differences? Will her father finally understand her? And vise-versa?

This is a really good, funny, and awesome read. And the book trailer is seriously awesome.

I love the book trailer, too. Don’t you think this book would make a wonderful TV show? I still haven’t actually read the book, though. Hopefully soon.
