About Petit Rocks!

Petit Rocks! Is an ongoing blog for teens. Though it is hosted through the Petit Branch Library, we post about more than just books.

Our mission

To provide a resource for teenagers. We share information related to teen events, opportunities, and library resources, but more importantly, we strive to give voice to our teens on subjects that concern, interest, or involve them. Petit Rocks! also informally publishes creative work to help build audiences for young writers and is open to submissions year round.

Above all we value kindness, respect, and fun in all posts and comments.

Follow our page for:

Events for teens offered through the Petit Library or the community.
Opportunities for teens relating to books, writing, and other library related topics.
Original creative writing by our teen writers
Musings, discussion, and other written thoughts on any subject relevant to teens.
Reviews  and recommendations of novels, stories, poetry, movies, music, and more.

If you’d like to submit to Petit Rocks, check out our Submissions page.
